Necessity To Survive vs Expectation to Thrive Day 2

welcome to Daily Reflections this morning as we carry on with our series this week and our scripture this morning is Joshua 1. 9. Have I not commanded you be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God, it will be with you wherever you go. I love this verse and and I just wanted to reflect upon that.

In our journey of life, we often find comfort in the familiar, in the places of survival where we feel secure and in control. We become accustomed to navigating the challenges that life throws at us, and in doing so, we may unintentionally limit ourselves to the land of restricted expectations.

The fear of the unknown and the allure of conformity can keep us confined, preventing us from stepping into the uncharted territory that God has prepared for us. However, the Lord calls us calls us to be strong and courageous. He reminds us not to be afraid or discouraged. As we face the uncertainty of a place of expectation.

Instead of dwelling in the comfort of survival, God invites us to challenge our limitations and open ourselves up to the possibilities and possibilities and uncharted paths. There's three points of embracing the uncharted and I just wanted to I've pinned those down for us this morning. The first point is that, one, we're finding comfort in the familiar.

Going through this highlights how we often seek comfort in the familiar places of survival. Where we feel secure and in control. However, this comfort may inadvertently lead us. to limit ourselves and to settle for restricted expectations, preventing us from exploring new possibilities. The second point is overcoming fear and conformity.

This emphasizes the importance of overcoming the fear of the unknown and the allure of conformity. God calls us to be strong and courageous, reminding us that he is with us wherever we go. By challenging our limitations and embracing the uncharted, we can step into a realm of expectation and growth.

And thirdly, it's trusting in God's guidance. Throughout this study, we will be, it encourages us to trust in God's guidance and surrender our lives to his perfect will. Through prayer, we can seek his strength to step out of our comfort zone and embrace the uncharted paths that he has prepared for us by aligning our thoughts with his.

We can experience a transformation. And find fulfillment in this unique purpose for our lives.

Isn't that a wonderful three points to think about? And such a, so encouraging. And I just wanted to pray for us today. And and bring this to the Father. Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you today, acknowledging the fear and the reluctance in my heart to embrace the unknown. I have found comfort in surviving and have been hesitant to venture beyond the familiar.

But I recognize that true growth and self discovery lie beyond the borders of conformity. And I pray this in Jesus name. Amen. If if you're this morning finding yourself in that survival mode I just wanted to encourage you this morning to be strong and courageous, as it said in Joshua 1, 9, and until tomorrow, I shall see you then.
